Developed in India, yoga is a physical discipline with roots going back about 5,000 years. Today, this unbroken tradition can be found all over the world. Most yoga practices in the West focus on the physical postures called “asanas,” breathing exercises called “pranayama,” and meditation. However, there's more to it than that, and the deeper you go, the richer and more diverse the tradition becomes.



At Balance we believe in movement because we understand that movement is life! Most our instructors teach a Vinyasa Style Yoga, where students will be guided through a fun and invigorating class that is based on linking movement with breath (Vinyasa). Expect a different class each time you come. Expect to sweat and always, expect to have fun!



Each of our instructors has a unique teaching style and come from different backgrounds; including Hatha, Vinyasa, Ashtanga, Anusara, Iynegar, as well as Restorative. Classes are designed to build your strength, balance and flexibility as well as inspire peace and tranquility. All of our instructors have been certified to teach yoga and demonstrate the qualifications necessary to be registered with the Yoga Alliance.



Classes are suitable for all levels, from the experienced yogi to the beginner! We encourage you to try different instructors to find the class that is most meaningful to you. Regardless of age, experience, or level of flexibility, everyone can practice yoga at Balance. Yoga is for everybody.



At Balance we strive to bring you the best yoga instructors that South Walton has to offer in a studio that is clean, warm and supportive. Although we offer a variety of classes and instructors all of our classes share one thing in common-a comfortable safe space in which to explore the body and mind.



Yoga is a daily practice. For good results practice 2-3 times a week. For profound life changes practice 5-6 times a week!
