Get to the root cause:

If you’re stuck in a rut with your health, know you’re not alone. Dr. Bart shares some recent real-life examples of results he’s seen right in his own clinic. Did you know that you can lower your blood pressure JUST by breathing? Find out how on this week’s episode!

What if you’re starting from ground zero? If you’re nervous about making big lifestyle changes, Dr. Bart shares small, yet powerful actions you can take like:

  • Just two minutes per day of spinal strengthening movements (like yoga’s cat/cow spinal flow) will immediately set the foundation so your body can move better.
  • Eliminate sugar from your diet as much as possible, to reduce the painful, inflammatory effect it has on the body.
  • Stick to your nutrition plan, and have an accountability buddy. You need support to help you hold yourself accountable (even when it’s difficult).

Use the power of herbs:

Thankfully, mother nature provides us with many powerful herbs that support our body’s healing function.

Adaptogenic herbs are natural stress relievers that when used over time, increase your body’s capacity to handle stress.

You need to have these herbs in your daily routine:

Skin support:

  • Gotu Kola: Helps to heal eczema, connective tissue, scars (therefore very helpful post-surgery ). This herb is unofficially known as “Botox in a bottle.”
  • Cyruta plus: Supports dental health and prevents gum bleeding.

Immune support:

  • Echinacea (from the root): Best companies use a root and a leaf to get the strongest supplement possible. It increases white blood cell count and their action (aka what you what your immune system to do if you are sick).
  • Andrographis Plus: An antioxidant, antibacterial and anti-inflammatory powerhouse that supports immune function. Contains Echinacea, Holy Basil, and Andrographis herb.

Brain support:

  • Rhodiola: When paired with ginseng, these herbs can reduce brain fog, aid in better sleep and reduce stress levels.
  • Ashwagandha Forte: Clinically helps with hypothyroidism. Helps to calm the mind. Stack with Min-Chex. Dosage can really vary depending on mental and hormonal state.

Sleep support:

  • Kava: Induces sleepiness/ calms the body down and addresses chronic pain. An added bonus? It’s also an aphrodisiac.

By following the simple the tips Dr Precourt shares in this episode, you won’t believe how much better you’ll feel.
