What markers are included in the Balance Comprehensive Male/Female Panels?
Thyroid
Most mainstream offices are not testing for the free fractions of thyroid hormone as well as thyroid anti-bodies and reverse T3. That is what we are looking at with this test.
Hormone
As a clinician, some of the most common health problems I see are related to sex and stress hormone levels. They are also major risk factors for breast, uterine and ovarian cancer in women and prostate cancer in men.
Metabolic
This test gives us important information about the current status of your kidneys and liver as well as electrolyte and acid/base balance and levels of glucose and blood proteins.
Urinalysis
This simple urine test that looks at complex biomarkers from various metabolic pathways. These biomarkers give an overview of several major systems in the body and an analysis of nutritional deficiencies in the body.
Cardiovascular
Lipid panels are archaic and scientists have demonstrated that these tests have many limitations and only identify 40% of those at risk for coronary heart disease.
White Blood Cell + CBC
This test can screen for a variety of conditions that feature infection or inflammation. The CBC gives us a picture of the immune system, infections, vitamin & mineral status, and the ability to stop bleeding.
