Chemical Sensitivities, Over Fasting, Feeling Overwhelmed | Episode 105
In this episode we discuss some common health concerns that many people face today: chemical sensitivities, over-fasting, and feeling overwhelmed.
Watch the live show below:
First, let’s talk about chemical sensitivities. Many of us are exposed to a wide range of chemicals in our daily lives, from cleaning products to personal care items to the air we breathe. Some people are more sensitive to these chemicals than others, and may experience symptoms such as headaches, fatigue, skin irritation, and difficulty breathing. It’s important to be aware of the products we use and the chemicals they contain and to seek out alternatives whenever possible. This can include switching to natural cleaning products, avoiding products with fragrances or harsh chemicals, and ensuring good ventilation in our homes and workplaces. Additionally, some people find relief from their symptoms by following a special diet or taking supplements that support the body’s detoxification processes.
Next, let’s talk about over-fasting. Fasting has become a popular health trend in recent years, with many people using it as a way to lose weight or improve their overall health. While there are certainly benefits to fasting, it’s important to approach it with caution and not overdo it. Over-fasting can lead to a number of negative consequences, such as fatigue, irritability, and decreased cognitive function. Additionally, fasting can be particularly risky for people with certain health conditions, such as diabetes or eating disorders. If you’re considering fasting, it’s important to do your research and talk to a healthcare professional to determine what approach is best for you.
Finally, let’s talk about feeling overwhelmed. Many of us are juggling multiple responsibilities and dealing with high levels of stress on a daily basis. This can lead to feelings of overwhelm, which can impact our physical and mental health. It’s important to take steps to manage stress and prevent burnout. This can include practicing mindfulness techniques such as meditation or deep breathing, prioritizing self-care activities like exercise and getting enough sleep, and setting boundaries to ensure that you’re not taking on too much. Additionally, seeking support from friends, family, or a mental health professional can be beneficial in managing feelings of overwhelm.
Chemical sensitivities, over-fasting, and feeling overwhelmed are all common health concerns that many people face. By being aware of these issues and taking proactive steps to manage them, we can improve our overall health and well-being. Remember to always consult a healthcare professional before making any major changes to your diet or lifestyle, and prioritize self-care and stress management as part of your daily routine. Thanks for your support, and we’ll see you next time.
