Q & A Episode:
Here at The Health Made Simple Show, we understand that everyday health concerns can often become worrisome problems. That’s why we are dedicated to answering your burning questions and providing simple solutions to those challenges.
In these special Q&A episodes, we tackle the most pressing issues from our viewers and clinic patients, breaking them down into easy-to-understand answers and actionable steps. By turning complex health matters into accessible insights, we aim to help you overcome your hurdles and pave the way to a healthier, more fulfilled life.
We start off by discussing a recent clinical insight that’s very personal to me. I had the opportunity to work with a long-time client who suffered an almost fatal accident and consequently faced a significant health setback. His physiotherapists and doctors have been astonished by his recovery, but I’m not surprised. Because he took his health seriously and devoted time and effort beforehand, his body was primed to kick into healing mode when required.

Q: Most days, my mom isn’t hungry until dinnertime. Is that normal?
This is more common than you might think, though it’s not ideal. Her appetite is waning because her body has adjusted to her current activity levels. By encouraging the elders in your life to be more active (even in small ways), you can help shift their metabolism. This will naturally increase their appetite to replenish what their body needs. Remember, it’s NEVER too late to make positive changes!
Q: I am always traveling, what are the best ways I can eat clean?
Keep an eye out for fresh, natural options, or “God’s Garden.” Can you find a protein source and a salad? While some situations may be challenging, finding clean foods on the go is almost always possible. Training your physiology to sustain (rather than succumb to sub-par foods) can help keep things clean. Consider intermittent fasting or keep healthy snacks like sardines, apples, or nuts on hand.
Q: How can I keep my focus up for long periods of time?
Sleep is the most critical factor in your brain’s ability to be functioning as optimally as possible. But if you know you have a busy day coming up and you will need some serious endurance, here is my go-to herb combination:
Q: I recently did a parasite cleanse, and thought I got rid of them. But I think they are back. How is this possible?
First, let’s examine the root cause. Why was your gut hospitable for parasites? Probably low stomach acid. If you don’t actively work to change your gut environment (reduce sugars and carbs, increase stomach acid), there’s a high likelihood parasites will return. Repairing your gut and cleansing your parasites must go hand in hand.
