What Does Nature Tell Us?
Kris begins by explaining her personal experience with health concerns, owning a restaurant, and why it is essential to consider what is in our food.
You must begin with something you can tackle. We must start to consider that we have the opportunity to explore what is in our food instead of feeling the obligation.
As we begin to eat clean, our tastebuds start to change. Once we understand the ingredients, we notice that food that is not naturally created does not taste normal!
What Ingredients Matter?
There are chemicals in our food that we have no idea is present!
General meat on the market has significant hormones and GMOs.
There are four levels of food
- Biodynamic and regenerative food
- Organic food
- Conventional food
- GMO food
Conventional and GMO foods have considerable amounts of pesticides and herbicides in them. They have chemicals that cause the bugs stomach to explode. This is the food that we are consuming!
Artificial colors, flavors, and sweeteners are relatively well known, but there are also artificial preservatives. These should all be avoided at all costs considering they are created in a lab by scientists.
Consuming these chemicals and gluten can lead to many health issues from Hashimoto to Celiac. Also, it can cause your antibodies to wreak havoc on your pancreas.
Gluten no longer serves us, and there is no reason we should be consuming it.
How Do We Prioritize Gut Health?
- Begin to read the ingredients on the foods that you are consuming.
- Remove gluten from your diet.
- Change your menu and begin to consume gut-healing foods.
- Prioritize REAL food.
You can learn more about what food to prioritize from Dr. Bart’s talk on God’s Garden
We must allow ourselves to have some level of accountability. We need to know where we are heading through conversations with a health professional or biannual blood tests.
If we just let our health go, there is no way to avoid health issues or even have an awareness that they are developing.
Dr. Bart offers comprehensive solutions for developing this awareness at the link below!
What about Autoimmune Conditions?
Every year there are more diagnoses of autoimmune conditions.
If you are diagnosed with one condition, you will typically develop another one within three years. Within ten years of the first diagnosis, you will usually be diagnosed with FIVE autoimmune diseases.
For this reason, and many others, we need to stick to a gameplan and begin to prioritize our diet!
If you have health insurance, this is typically covered by your provider. However, even if it is not, we should change our financial priorities to take care of our health.
How Do We Know if our Food is Actually Organic?
There are a significant number of articles that bash organic food. These articles come from companies such as Bayer that make billions producing genetically modified crops and lobby to lessen organic guidelines.
Private companies are the ones that certify organic foods. These are legitimate companies that can be trusted.
However, there is still organic junk food! That is why it is so essential to flip over the product and read the ingredient list.
If you ever come across a product that claims to be regenerative or is certified as biodynamic, this is the gold standard. This means farmers are regenerating the soil and ensuring the food you receive is of the highest quality.
It is not about the grocery store. It is about the brand. Do your research on the brands and begin considering what you are putting in your body!
Which Foods Need to be Organic?
The most important foods to keep organic are animal meats and products. This can be seen as chicken, beef, eggs, etc.
Following this, you should prioritize that all of your vegetables are organic, and lastly, you should purchase all organic fruits.
However, this does not mean that it is unimportant to be consuming solely organic foods. This is simply for those who are beginning the transition.
Not only is organic produce better for your body, but they also taste so much better!!
Your body has been created to detox. If you begin to put in nature’s best, your body will naturally detox these unhealthy chemicals.
What About Cosmetics?
Your skin is your largest organ, so you should treat it as such!
The ingredients in cosmetics are often detrimental to our health, so we should not just eat organic, but apply organic.
What Solutions Can We Use?
An excellent hydration product that can be used has been created by our guest Kris! This product is organic and provides both great taste and significant electrolytes to improve hydration.
This product is shipped throughout the United States.
Hydration is an essential practice that improves our lives and can even reduce issues such as asthma.

Making Health Simple
Change the water you drink to natural spring water. If you are consuming bottled water, make sure that it is never distilled or purified. Even when traveling, you can find natural spring water in almost every grocery or convenience store.
