LIVE Q&A: Your Health Questions Answered | Episode 65
I can’t believe how many questions we’ve had come in over the last couple weeks! So, we’ve decided to have another Q&A session because the most important thing to me is making sure your questions are answered so you have all the knowledge you need to level up and live superhuman.
Watch the live show below:
1. What is considered normal blood pressure.
The short answer is 120 over 80, but there’s a lot of factors that go into that. The top number is systolic and it averages between 100 and 140 depending on cardiovascular health and size. The bottom number is diastolic and it averages between 60 and 90. While most people think genetics is the main or only factor in blood pressure, lifestyle and epigenetic choices play a much larger role. You can make decisions that will affect your blood pressure today.
2. How can I lower my systolic number?
We tend to get nervous when we get our blood pressure taken, so before we start worrying about lowering numbers, we need to make sure we get an accurate reading by calming ourselves and taking multiple readings. One of the most important things we can do is regulate our breathing. Put one hand beneath your belly button and one hand on your chest, then take a deep breath, moving the bottom hand first and then the top. Once you’ve taken the complete breath, hold it for a second and then exhale as slowly as possible. Taking Cataplex G will help your veins open up to help your blood flow better. Cardio-Plus will support the healthy functioning of your heart and support your coronary blood flow.
3. My kids are going back to college, what’s the best protocol?
Usually, we try and keep it simple because we know college students have many other things on their mind besides their supplement regimen. Cod Liver Oil twice a day and Catalyn twice a day is my usual recommendation. However, in these unusual times we can all use a little more help to level up. Immuplex will give them immune support with zinc, Cataplex C is their full enzyme Vitamin C and the Herbal Throat Spray will help strengthen their mucosal lining, especially when they’re going to be out in groups.
4. If I have high cholesterol, can I eat foods with cholesterol?
The short answer is yes, but it’s more complex than just cholesterol or no cholesterol. We all have a unique makeup of cholesterols, much like a fingerprint. Most are made in the body, but if we don’t make it, we have to eat it and if we don’t eat it, our body will make replacement cholesterols that aren’t always good for us. The challenge is the type of cholesterol and the ratios. Just trying to avoid cholesterol is not a good way to get rid of high cholesterol. High cholesterol is actually caused by a bad diet, mostly sugar and bad fats. Things like fast foods and donuts are going to send your triglycerides through the roof. Things like butter, eggs and red meat can all be good cholesterols, despite what you may have heard. You can also take berberine for liver and pancreas health.
5. What is the protocol for a dog ACL repair?
The pre-surgery routine of good food and an anti-inflammatory is just as important as the post surgery routine. Ligaplex I for torn soft tissues and Ligaplex II for muscles, tendons and ligaments work just as well for canines as they do for humans. Canine Flex Support is a canine specific supplement that will help rebind the tissue and help with the healing process. In addition a raw diet that includes food with collagen and Turmeric Forte (once a day generally and twice a day during protocol). Most importantly though, you’ll be amazed what will happen when you get out of the way, stop babying injuries and defining patients that way and let the body does what it was built to do… heal!
6. Can you use Antronex for a dog with allergies?
Yes, before and after an allergic reaction.
7. I recently got an IUD out, what should I do when coming off birth control?
There can be a crash coming off birth control that can include symptoms like anxiety, depression, hair loss and fatigue. Because birth control hijacks the hypothalamus gland, it’s important to reset your system. You can take Hypothalmex between six and nine times daily as long as necessary to reduce symptoms and regulate the cycle. Symplex F is a great supplement for women’s health that supports the healthy function of the ovaries and other glands.
8. Do you have any suggestions for water?
Water is a big issue because we’re always consuming it. We should emphasize healthy water as much as healthy food. Reverse osmosis is a great process for cleaning the water, but you have to be careful because you end up with just H20 and none of the minerals. Dissolved solvents can add the things you need to get from your water besides just hydrogen and oxygen. Filtering water or drinking better waters that don’t come in plastics are also good solutions.
9. What is recommended for HPV?
HPV is a virus, so like any virus, I always recommend leveling up your systems, organs and glands so your body functions at a higher level. Zinc is always helpful to inhibit replication of any virus.
10. Are there any new methods for treating Alzheimer’s?
A lot of the treatments go back to epigenetics. Things like repetitive traumas, stresses, sugars and inflammations are always important to try and avoid. Make sure you’re getting a healthy amount of sleep and you’re getting your fatty acids, things like pre-digested fish oils help them get into the brain faster. It’s always important to support the immune system and make sure you’re eating a healthy diet. There’s no big answer to fix it, but every little thing you do can improve quality of life.
11. What is your take on Ivermectin?
I have no firsthand experience, but all the data I’m seeing points to it being successful, with minimal negative effects.
12. What is the role of progesterone in men?
It doesn’t play as significant of a role as it does in women, but it does help things grow. It can also be helpful in balancing out cortisol and testosterone and it plays a role in healing.
13. What is causing my leg cramps at night?
Most of the time, a magnesium deficiency is to blame. 4 capsules of Magnesium Lactate before bed should help. If it continues, Cataplex G is always good for circulation, especially in body parts furthest from the heart.
14. How can I help a diabetic patient with age related macular degeneration?
You can help them eat right, make sure they’re getting fish oils and remember that all good changes are helping. Most importantly though, is treating them with lots of love and seeing past the sickness and the ailments to the deeply loved person underneath.
15. Can I take too much Zinc or Vitamin C?
You can take too much of anything. The type and how much of it you’re taking both matter. Zinc Chelate is bioavailable and synergistic with copper as opposed to synthetics that are harder to break down. It’s a high quality source, 20-50mg a day should be a healthy dose. The only danger with too much Vitamin C is that is becomes a diuretic and you may have your system being flushed.

What is our one action to move toward being superhuman?
Stand Tall.
There are too many people projecting their fears and weaknesses onto each other, trying to diminish one another. If we stand tall and stay confident in our conviction (and we allow time to take its due course), we will find ourselves glad we stood tall, even in times of great adversity.
