We’re back with another Q&A episode. If you have any questions, please continue to post them in the comments on our Facebook.

Watch the live show below:

1. Do I need to take B12 before or after magnesium to get adequate absorption?

No. Magnesium is a mineral, so it doesn’t need to be as broken down. When we’re eating whole food, we don’t need to be as focused on pairings, because your food is actually food! All of our supplements are whole food and not synthetic, so our Magnesium Lactate is very soluble and bio-available.

2.Can C-Diff be cured via diet and supplements?

Yes, C-Diff can be grouped in with other fungus and mold of the gut. For an average case, intermittent fasting with lots of garlic will help clear you out and then proper probiotics will help you restore your gut health.

3. I have a hairline fracture in my left foot, what will help it heal?

It’s important to remember that a hairline fracture is still a broken bone and it should be treated as such. Ostrophin PMG twice a day on an empty stomach will help with your natural bone health support and Calcifood is a great source of calcium that’s more ionizable to the bone than regular calcium. It’s also important to stabilize the foot, trade those flip flops in for tennis shoes. All the work of actual healing is done in the first 14 days, so you need to be very conscious during that period. Everything after that is stabilization. Ostarplex is a great supplement for your overall skeletal health and the formation of healthy connective tissue.

4. I’m thinking of getting an infrared sauna, is it a good investment?

Yes! It may cost a few thousand dollars, but it’s an investment in something you can have for a long time. Benefits include weight loss, cell cleanse, breast health, lymphatic health, and improving your immune system. Regular saunas get super hot and can exhaust the body easily. An infrared sauna only gets between 130 and 150 degrees and heat gradually penetrates cells so you can detox from the inside out. A good place to start is 3 sessions a week for 20-30 minutes.

5. How about cryotherapy?

It’s the polar opposite of the infrared sauna (emphasis on polar). It is very expensive, about 10x as much as an infrared sauna. The sessions usually only last 2-3 minutes in super freezing temperatures, shocking the cells and contracting things out. It also helps to stagnate the fat cells.

If you can’t do that, you can always do ice baths. They’re tough, but they can be a game changer for your health. They’re a natural inflammation reducer and they’re good for hormesis, or natural intermittent stress that makes our body stronger. I don’t recommend ice baths for anyone with significant adrenal issues.

6. Can you do both?

Absolutely! It’s the same as going from a hot tub to a cold pool, it will maximize the hormesis and force the body to become better at adapting to stress.

7. What are your recommendations for the best bed?

Bed health is extremely important, you spend more time in your bed than anywhere else, so it needs to be something you look forward to. You need to be very conscious of toxicity levels, it’s crucial to find a company that uses low or no chemicals. Menopausal women need to be especially careful, because the flame retardant chemicals in mattresses cause hot flashes.I recommend the Intellibed. It’s similar to a tempurpedic, but without the chemicals and it doesn’t sag or dip. You can use the code drbartprecourt62 for 10% off at the link above!

8. I’ve been experiencing perimenopause symptoms for years. What should I be doing or not doing and what supplements should I be taking?

Starting right away, you should be supporting your adrenal system. When your ovaries “go into retirement”, your adrenal glands begin making the progesterone your body needs. Start taking Drenamin, 3 tablets twice a day. In addition you can take Milk Thistle to support liver health. Outside of supplements, a high vegetable diet will help clean the body out, as will an intermittent fasting schedule between 12-16 hours. It’s important to start improving your sleep patterns as well. Also, remember, there’s nothing wrong with you, this is a natural part of life, the part that feels bad is being out of balance, which is what we’re trying to fix.

9. Where are you located, can I see you in person?

Sure, I’m in the Florida panhandle and it’s beautiful! You can always stop in at 3547 E. County Highway 30A Seagrove Beach, FL 32459, call us at 850-231-9288 or email at info@balance30a.com

10. Should I be stretching before or after exercise?

Both! Before exercise, dynamic, ballistic stretching to move the body will increase the blood flow. The Spinal Flow stretch is a great way to prepare yourself for any activity, even the activity that a normal day brings. Things like lunges, body weight squats and Vinyasa yoga are great ways to prepare your body as well. Remember, pre-workout stretches prevent problems while exercising and post-workout stretching prevents problems down the road, so don’t neglect it. Cod Liver Oil and Turmeric Forte will both help relax your muscles and get toxins out.

11. Any tips to help with bed wetting?

It’s more common than you think. It will eventually pass, but there are things you can look for. One cause could be parasites, which are for the most part nocturnal. Ask your child about an itchy butt, especially around bedtime. For parasites, I recommend Wormwood Complex (10 days on, 10 days off, and 10 days on) and Zymex II for 30 days. Another cause could be a body stuck in sympathetic dominance. For this, I recommend supporting the body with minerals. Give your child Min-Tran, 5 a night.

12. Any suggestions for being overwhelmed at world events?

First, start your day with gratitude. Remember that even in the most stressful circumstances, we all have a lot to be thankful for. Second, check your tribe. None of us were meant to live life as lone wolves, we need to be willing to seek and accept support from people we know really love us. Third, move your body and get some sunlight!  As far as supplements, Ashwagandha Complex will support your hypothalamus and adrenal glands.

13. Any recommendations for herbs to help your skin?

Cataplex C is a full enzyme vitamin X that supports the body’s natural collagen-synthesis process. The best herb is Gotu Kola Complex, it’s like botox in a bottle, take one twice a day consistently. It can also inhibit scar tissue after surgery. If you’ve recently had surgery, or about to have one, you can also take 2 Dermatrophin PMG before bed on an empty stomach and Drenamin.

I like to always end with one action you can take to become more superhuman and this week, it’s…

TURN OFF THE SCARY MOVIE

The world outside can certainly be a dark and scary place but it becomes much more so when you remain focused on the darkest and scariest parts. Filling your mind with the worst of the world, especially things you have no control over, is a recipe for mental and emotional disaster. Sometimes all we need to do is take a break. Head to the beach or the woods, spend time with your loved ones, and maybe most importantly, turn off your screens! Just like we reset our physical health with intermittent fasting and supplements that provide us with nutrients, we need to do the same for our minds and our souls.

This week’s supplements:
