LIVE Q&A: Your Health Questions Answered | Episode 74
We’re back with another week of Q&A on the Health Made Simple show. I hope these answers are helpful and give you some peace about whatever health issues you may be dealing with.
Watch the live show below:
1. My sister-in-law suffers from Lyme disease and the joint pain, swollen joints, and fatigue that come with it. She’s looking into stem cell treatment, what do you think? Also, what supplements would help?
Stem cell treatment would not be at the top of my list, but I wouldn’t completely rule it out. It’s better for someone who has an issue with a specific joint, not all of their joints. The first key is always going to be getting your body clean. I understand when you’re feeling bad, it’s the hardest to do good. But, it’s important to start somewhere and my Stealth Pathogen Protocol is a good place to start, You can get access to the complete protocol by contacting Balance Health Studio at 850.231.9288 or info@balance30a.com. I recommended Turmeric Forte to keep your joints healthy and to aid with liver function. One of the other keys is digestion, and for that I recommend Zypan. It would also be helpful to reach out to someone local who has experience in the functional medicine world.
2. I’ve heard it said that if a fruit or vegetable has hard skin that isn’t eaten, you don’t have to buy organic. Is this true or are is Roundup absorbed through the skin?
Yes, there is no getting around buying organic. One of the reasons we do this is to avoid what’s being sprayed on it and to avoid the toxins. Another reason, though, is because we want all of the nutrients we receive from organic produce. In addition, the more we buy, the more we support organic farming and the more we encourage our local grocers to carry their products, thus giving us more options.
3. Prescription blood pressure medication zaps the life out of me, are there any natural options I can take?
It’s actually a good sign that pre
scription blood pressure drugs zap the life out of you, because that means you have lifestyle issues, NOT heart issues. The first key is to get more sleep. And, just as a reminder, alcohol is not sleep medicine, it doesn’t keep you asleep and strips you of your nutrients. Your heart is a muscle and you need to treat it well. Give it a break and let it recover. Too much excess weight and too much stress are always going to cause problems. You should also be keeping track of alcohol, stimulants, sugar, caffeine, and electrolyte deficiency. There are two primary supplements you can take. First is Cataplex G (3 tablets, 3 times a day). You can also take Cardio Plus to create a healthier environment for the heart muscle.
4. Is the dosing on the bottle for Drenamin enough to get results?
Typically, you’ll need at least 6 a day, larger people may need more. One of the biggest challenges with any supplement is dosing. Simply put, most people are not dosing enough. Our dosing is based on three things: diet, disease, and deficiencies. The dosing on bottles is not usually for building or rehabbing the body, but for maintenance. If you contact my office at 850.231.9288 or info@balance30a.com, we can help you with dosing issues.
5. What can a person do to fix excessive sweating at night?
If we’re ruling out hormone issues, we’re likely talking about the vagus nerve. The longest nerve in the body, the vagus nerve sets the tone for the connection between the brain and body and the parasympathetic tone. More than likely, your sweat glands are stuck in sympathetic dominance. Our body needs minerals and that sweat is dumping them out. There could also be other issues at play. People with anxiety can still experience anxiety symptoms while asleep. We also can’t rule out nocturnal parasites or liver disease. One good tip would be to start your morning with celery juice every day for 30 days. The #1 herb I recommend is sage, 15mL an hour or two before bed on an empty stomach. You can contact my office at 850.231.9288 or info@balance30a.com for the sage. As far as supplements, I recommended MinTran and A-C Carbamide.
6. What are monoclonal antibodies and are they safe?
Monoclonal antibodies are antibodies that are created which provoke a white blood cell response to the spike protein. I’ve only seen good things, no adverse reactions so far, and the best part is, in Florida, they’re free! The biggest key is to not wait and see if you need them. If you’ve been exposed or if you feel at all like you may need them, go get them. They will keep the viral load down and inhibit the infection from spreading.
If you’ve already had the vaccine, you can still get the antibodies and they’ll probably work well in tandem. The natural antibodies are better than vaccine antibodies because they’re the full playbook of the virus as opposed to a partial knowledge.
7. What Covid protection do you use for your family and yourself?
The simple answer is Vitamin C, Vitamin D, and Zinc. You can never go wrong with those. As far as precautions, when we meet with family we meet outside. It’s virtually impossible to catch the virus outside and you have the added benefit of natural sunlight. In addition, we keep the windows open to keep the air moving and if we feel rundown or off at all, we stay home and rest.
8. If you take Ivermectin when you have Covid, will it affect your antibody test?
No, they are two different things?
9. What does bad breath mean and how can I fix it?
It’s not uncommon to have a moment or two of bad breath, but if you’re having chronic halitosis, it’s likely due to candida, yeast, or fungal overgrowth. This can be caused by antibiotics and sugar and carbs can keep them alive. You can start by tongue scraping and filling your diet with more bitter foods. In addition, adding greens into your diet will give you the chlorophyll you need.
10. I’m being forced to get the vaccine, what are your thoughts?
First of all, if you feel it’s something you must do, accept it as something you’re choosing. The mindset you have will greatly affect your body’s response. Due to the responses from other countries, I would rule out Moderna. Besides that, do everything you can to keep your body as clean as possible before, during, and after the vaccine.
11. What is this week’s action to become superhuman?
Get Excited!
We’ve all been sitting in the background for too long. More and more people are becoming less fearful and when fear wears away it feels good! Know that there are good strategies out there to fight Covid and anything else that may come along. We don’t need to be afraid.
