Let’s kick off the new year on the right foot. Tonight, we set your expectations for 2021 and discuss trends, as well as how to get prepared for the upcoming year.

Watch the live show below:

We must become emotionally fit

2020 dove into the heart of our emotions. However, I am not sure if collectively we handled it correctly. The reality surrounding Covid is that we still have a minimum of nine months to a year before the general public feels vaccines are safe. For emotional fitness, there are three things that we need to do. First, we need to get clear on what we want. The reality is that worldwide, we have spent a year talking about what we don’t want. This energetically does not work because it creates a negative vibration. Second, who we surround ourselves with massively influences our thoughts, and therefore, our actions. Lastly, the third is action. Everyday you must choose to have a conversation with yourself, meditate, and to choose to win the morning by having a ritual in your life that fulfills you.

Update about vaccines

There are two main vaccine providers that are going to be accessible in the United States: Moderna and Pfizer. Pfizer has already been approved to do an emergency release. Pfizer has a 94% effective rate. But 94% effective for what? Is it 94% effective to prevent severe reactions to the covid virus, but you can still spread the virus? At this time, this is not available to people under 16, meaning that children will not be vaccinated.

Does covid change your RNA?

Messenger RNA (mRNA), is equivalent to plugging in a USB drive to your computer. The mRNA is going to be bound and will help activate some ribosomes. I do not know if it is going to change your DNA, but it is going to bind to your DNA.

Functional Medicine and Functional Nutrition

We take the symptoms that you have, match them with who you are, and help you level up. We help find all the details, your life history, epigenetics, genetics, and your lab results. All of these things combined with one goal in mind: How do we get you to function at a higher level? Functional nutrition is using that same data to find out what type of nutrition is best for you. Functional medicine and nutrition are not trying to eliminate symptoms as traditional medicine does. Instead, we implement strategies to level ourselves up to become optimal functioning human beings.

Health First

We are in a pandemic because humans have health problems, not because there is a virus. Humans are very vulnerable. The beauty of putting health first is that a lot of people want to invest more time and money in their health. The most important thing that we have as individuals is our health and the decisions we make daily make a difference.

The sugar industry is at a record all-time high in sales.

Sugar destroys our health. Getting sugar out of our diets would go much further than getting a vaccine. Sugar companies are becoming brilliant with their marketing. This year as humans, we are lacking interactions, we are craving connectivity, and we are craving to be together. Sugar companies know this and their marketing manipulates our behavior. Sugar is also the cheapest food in the world. Discipline is doing what we don’t want to do but doing it anyway because it is good for us. If you stay on sugar you will get brain fog, lack of energy, inflammation, and hormonal changes.

We are becoming more aware of diabetes and heart disease

These diseases are both fixable, especially type two diabetes. If we didn’t have hundreds of thousands of millions of people with diabetes and heart diseases, we wouldn’t have a covid issue. People dying of covid have comorbidities that are highly related to heart disease and diabetes. A prolonged blood sugar issue makes you vulnerable. Here in the United States, a million people die every year from a combination of heart disease and diabetes. This number is going up, not down.

Can you reduce cortisol naturally without supplements?

Yes, supplements help us cut the line. I am a huge advocate of supplements because they help us to fix deficiencies and remove toxicities. If you think you have high cortisol, that’s where your lifestyle comes in. Getting more sleep will improve cortisol function in the body. Healthy adrenal glands provide balanced cortisol levels. You can regulate cortisol levels without supplements through sleep and diet.

Protected Health Groups

Our freedom to share health information is becoming limited. I make decisions every day on the topics I talk about online in fear of getting shut down on social media. There is so much information that we could provide, however social media prevents this.
